Picked up a little guy Saturday to grow out. I had reduced my stock for a long time, but have been getting back into it. I traded the rest of my polys years ago for a 240 and bought an endli a while ago and wanted to get one more bichir that gets decently large and teugelsi are one of my favorites.

Unfortunately, came home today to a dead bichir. I am also down from 5 to 1 bala shark over the weekend, in which I was away. Not sure if it's the salt I was using to treat the ich the bass had, but seems like they could have gotten hungry and went on a rampage. Bichirs seem to get along with most tank mates and bass usually don't bother other species too much, which is curious. Was eating well and everything, but still had external gills.

If I have that money before it's gone, I'm going to pick up the large one the same store has. It'll have to go directly into the 240.
