:feedback: I have had these little white things crawling on the glass for like a week or more now. I wipe them off and there back in 6 hours. I can see them move and there shaped like slugs. Doesn't seem to be bothering fish but I want to get rid of it. I did 2 big water changes this week and still there. Any idea what they are or how to get rid of them?

They are probably planaria flatworms, they are harmless, gravel vacs, careful feeding, and good tank hygeine will clear them up, 1 tbsp salt/5 gallons will reduce their numbers. Especially clean under the edges of rocks, wood, etc.

i agree with guppy another trick is to do a good tank cleaning and dont feed for three days this should reduce thier numbers they live off excess food in the tank and your fish can survive a 3 day fast with no problems as long as theyre healthy and you have no fry or juvies which need to eat daily

Wouldnt a pleco or snail take care of this also? Im pretty sure mine do. Unless Ive just improved the cleanliness of my tank without even knowing it.

Most tanks of filters contain a few, cleanliness and predation by some fish keep the numbers low enough so that you don't notice.
