I have a helpful tip for weighting down zuchinni and other vegetables. I cut a slice off and stick a fork through it, the fork quickly sinks to the bottom for the fish to feed on.

Tie the fork with a string and anchor the string on the outside of the tank. Ugly, yes, but easier to remove. Also works for lettuce, eggplant, carrots, hibiscus flowers, arugula, sweet potato... blah blah. Fork on string can stand up to keep veg at any level in water. Only barely helps to keep (#@!!*!&!) headstander from eating every scrap of good plants.

When my fish start using forks to eat does that mean they are evolving and will soon sprout legs and walk on land?

I usually use those plant anchors and stick it through the zucchini...works good:)
