I've had fish tanks for a number of years now, everything from 10-55g.
I really want to go even bigger but i don't have room for anything huge. I'm wondering if you guys have any tips for size, maybe 5 ft long? what about length and hight? Also looking for what kind of material, I don't want to spend an over kill however i don't want to cheap out either.

and one more question what would be some good fish for a tank that size? (I live in Maine..)

Thank's!

Really not worth building anything that size imo . Id buy something used in that range for $300 or less. Price break on building tanks is for 500 gal and up and even better for 1,000 gal and up. Ive purchached used acrylic tanks for very cheap in all sizes
