What do you do to make great water for your lil finned friends? Do u add salt? Baking soda? Straight from the tap? Share your secrets maybe we can learn a thing or two

Sent from my LS670 using MonsterAquariaNetwork App

RO/DI, + 9g's Equilibrium + 2g's alkaline buffer + .8g's acid buffer + about a 1/4tbs sea salt for every 5 gallons = GH 160ish, KH 70ish, PH 7.3ish, give or take - N

Temperature adjusted from the tap straight into the tank, along with Prime (total water volumes worth, not just what's added).

the bakingsoda is to adjust the ph level, this isnt usually advised since the ph can rapidly change back as your fish release ammonia into the water.

tap.. and aquasafe... lots pf water changes are key.. and since my tap is consistant... i dont mess with my chemistry... hopefully get a nice water system when we get our own place so i can tweek for better consistant water.

i like to put water into 5 gal jugs the day before and let them sit. i then before the water change test the water for chlorine. if all is good i add it as is. i try to stay away from chemicals as much as i can
