Shrimp, clams, mussel's, etc. I currently have one, my 6th one and she mainly eats shrimp, about 10 pieces.

Well typical tank at the widest is 24" such as a 300 that you may get at the LFS, usually you have to get a custom tank made past 24", usually acrylic.

My last MBU was almost 24". so a 24" fish in a 24" wide tank, doesn't make sense. Perfect size is a tank 48" wide, 36" will do as well but the wider the better.
