ok, im sure this is common knowledge for most, but i need to transport my 240 gallon glass tank about 150 miles, not worried about the actual moving water rock fish, etc... part. i just need to know if theres anything special i need to know about how to move this without breaking it!!

transport it on a flat even surface, make sure nothing can fall on it, and if possible secure down so it doesn't bounce at all in transit. Did my 125 and 180 in a pickup truck with tie down straps.

I usually throw an old comforter over my tanks when I move them also to avoid anything from scratching them, includeing tie-down straps.

well im planning on renting a uhaul or a truck that can toe an enclosed trailer. i do have a truck but with the bed down its 8 feet 4 inches or so and the tank is 8 feet. im guessing would the tie downs hold the tank from sliding out the bed? do i need to brace the inside of the tank with some large styrafoam? yes i worry a lot lol
