Hey this is my first post so bear with me.
I have 4 baby (3") Cichla Monoculus P-Bass that i'd like to breed eventually. So I was just wondering if any of you have bread these before and what seemed to work best. I've heard that they'll lay eggs on a piece of slate or something. When would be best to take the eggs/babys out of the parents tank? How long untill the bass reach maturity? will they pair up like discus' or do you just stick a random male and female together and voila? should I keep the pair in a tank by themselves or will it be ok to keep all 4 together for life? I probably have several years untill they're big enough to breed but i just built them 2 - 250g tanks to try to get things going. Any info would be great.
