Tips on feeding Pikes.

I bought my first pike last week. Sold to me as a Crenicichla lepidota. was wandering if anyone had tips on getting to eat pellets will only eat frozen krill so far. New to the forum 1st post. Thanks for any help.

I would suggest taking 1 or 2 pellets, and allowing the frozen krill to sit and thaw with the pellets. This will add the taste of pellet to the krill.

I would not add more than 2 pellets to the mix, because they will most likely not eat them. You can do this process for a week, and then let the pike go hungry for a few days, and try a pellet or two...If they don't hit the pellets, then go back to thawing the krill with the pellets...Sooner or later they will take the pellets.
 
If the fish is with other fish, just be patient, and feed the other fish pellets, or flakes, and watch him, and he should slowly start taking them, too.
