Hey guys. Just wondering if anyone had tips on how to beat get a 535 acrylic aquarium onto the stand. The tank weighs over 600lbs empty and I’m wondering how many dudes and what type of equipment can make this easier.

Suction cups? If so, load weighting and brands? Any other tips?

My stand will be delivered tomorrow and I hope to have all the plumbing on the back side of this tank ready within a week or two.

Thanks all!

I moved my 330g glass (600lbs) with me and three other guys using shoulder moving straps. Also called shoulder dollies. It was pretty easy.

My stand is 32” tall.
Wow. Didn’t even know those existed. Did you rent them or buy them?

Thanks guys. Any and all tips welcome. I like the shoulder dolly idea. Much cheaper than suction cups.

It’ll be hard for me to get more than 4 guys to move this puppy. When I got it, four guys struggled like hell to get it out the truck.

I ordered them on amazon. Like $30 each. Rated for 800#. We could have done it with just picking it up, but not easy. With these it was like squatting the weight and it’s much easier.
Awesome. How’s you get the straps out from underneath after?
