Tips on lowering ph for srd?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I've read limestone...
Limestone will raise the PH.

Do water changes with partial reverse osmosis water, this will lower the alkalinity and thus PH.

Warning: Lowering the hardness of the water will make it easier for PH swings to occur, frequent water changes will help replenish the buffering capacity of the water.

Hope this helps :)

Flowerhorn tend to thrive on tap water pH. I wouldn't suggest on altering it coz your flowerhorn will eventually adopt on it.
