Im building a stand, and i already used some particle board to cover the frame :wall:

anywho what is the best way to paint it?
what suggestions in paint do you guys have?

i am thinking 2 layers of sealer/primer paint first. and then paint it with an exterior grade paint.

If you must paint particle board....sand with fine sand paper first. then 2 coats of wood primer then 2 coats of paint. What would look nicer though is if you put a skin of better wood over it or even formica in the color/pattern of your choice!

After the presanding and priming, sand again and rattlecan it- but I think I like knowdafishs formica idea better. Ive got it... presand, prime, rattlecan it with contact adhesive then formica its particle board a**!

looking at particle board would drive me nuts, I'd either do the formica suggestion or buy some very thin wood venear (maybe oak or maple) and "skin" it over.
