My little nephews scratched my acrylic tank tod
ay with their toys while I was away from home. That felt like a knife slicing through my heart seeing my brand new acrylic tank being scratched! Luckily, I tried Mothers Sync Wax and it remove all the scratches and made it brand new. I thought I would pass along this information to other acrylic tank owners.

Thanks for the info...my friend could use this bit of information;)

let us know how that works out long term. I'm glad it fixed the issue for now, but if the scratches are deep they'll come back.

Did it melt your acrylic? BTW, I would think it's ok for outside scratch, but wouldn't recommend to remove inside scratch, due to who knows if the chemical would remained on the inside surface

It did not damage the acrylic at all. This stuff is safe for car paint surface and cost $20 a bottle. The wax removed the scratches completely and I could not feel the hairline scratch with my fingertip. I would use this for exterior surface only due to possible chemical leeching into the water if use inside the aquarium.
