Tire track eel approximate size?

I just got a awesome tire track eel and was wondering how big this guy will get cuz he has gotten noticeably bigger in last few weeks chewing on krill and salad prawns soaked in garlic extract

About 30", give or take 5". Do yourself a favor and check the stickies in the eel section. Tiretrack eels get very large, and the majority of them get rather aggressive.

Well that's why I got him for the aggressive nature. I have mainly cichlids so I try to keep equally competitive tank mates. He holds his own quite well

I have a tire track in my JD tank & he holds his own with 4 of them. He loves to eat live worm by hand. Right now I would say he's 9" long and 3" around. They can eat a lot, I feed him 2 worms in the morning and 2 early evening. Can't wait to see how big he'll get.

I was told 3 ft plus in a large enough aquarium. I've had mine for almost 4 yrs now I think and he's about 20 inches now. It's taken along time but he's still growing. Need a bigger aquarium for him. I'm halfway through building a large one now, but I'm afraid that he may end up in the mouth of one of my Achara catfish. At just 10 inches, those guys will eat full size smelts and market shrimp. At 24 + inches they may want to swallow my 20 inch Eel
