hey, i have had a 7" tire track eel for about 3 weeks. he is in a 55 gallon with a small oscar and a pleco. i have not seen him eat, let alone stick more than his head out of the tank. i have talked to my local fish store and they say he is probably eating at night but im not sure if the pleco is getting all the food first. any recomendations for foods? is this normal behavior?

thanks for the help, i bought some blood worms, but they float so he does not get them, im going to pick up some shrimp tomorow, i have heard krill work good, is this true?

give it earthworms... works for my tt eel

i plan on earthworms, but the grounds frozen here till late march, so i need something else until then. last night he was nibbling on hikari sinking carnivore pellets! he didnt eat them, but he tried them! hopefully he will try eating these soon

reason why the bloodworks float is cause there not defrosted, soak them in a little tank water till they complete come apart from an icecube shape to just little floaters in liquid.....
