Hey guys would a tire track eel get along with a bichir? Any1 have the two in a tank?

Used to have both the Senegal and tire track eel. They'll be fine if your tank is spacious.

also, make sure that the tiretrack is not a size where the bichir can eat it

I've got an 8" TT in a grow out with a 4" delhezi. Both are beefing up in a 30 gallon grow out before going in with the bigger boys and girls, as I worry about the larger poly's with anything that can fit in their mouths.

I mean, would you trust this face?

The del and TT have been together for 2 months, and there have been no issues, and zero agression. I'm sure this is because the TT is larger.

They are both feeding on live earthworm and red wigglers, though I'm trying to get the del onto pellets.

Lately I see the TT cuddled up to the del when the lights come on in the AM. So that's going well....
