I have a tire track thats about 17" x 2" dia he has stopped eating for about 3weeks Ive tested and tested my water......changed the water...etc he used to only eat krill and live ghost shrimp.. but he wont touch that any more....wtf????...my friend says his does it some times but never for more than a week. any suggestion would be great...ohhh btw he still looks healthy no heavy breathing skin looks fine doesnt look like hes dropped too much weight.

well i cant seem too switch him and thats pretty much all he would eat before he stoped all together.......I had a large fire eel that starved to death while trying to force him to change his diet because thats all he would eat as well....believe me ghost shrimp arent cheap about $8.50 for 50 in my area i want him on cheaper foods....could he be sick from ghost shrimp now???????? how should i treat. my friend is giving me a small 30gal should i quarntine him????
wtf??????.....he still looks good but now he looks like hes tryin to find a hole to jump out of......seems to be itchin himself against the rocks plz help.....love this fish and dont want him to die the water still test fine my other fish act perfectly normal no rubbing no wierd behavior eating well...... I dont know what to do Ive had aquariums for at least 8 years and have no idea what to do.
is there any treatment I should try besides salt and or water changes???? melafix didnt help... didnt think it would but hey worth a shot??? or not???.............plz help................................................................................................................................
maybe melafix did work he just started eating is melafix any good??????
i hear ......i mean read about ppl hatin on tank meds.are any accualy usefull???? my friend at the lfs recomends melafix...says it all natural and wont harm fish that arent sick...true or not some one please answer havent got as much advise as usual you guys seem to always solve my tank probs except for this one im sure you ppl know!!!!!!!!!

if he starts eating now, all will be good. eels just sometimes go on food strike but they can handle long time without food. whats the temp you keep him on?
