Now that you mention it I've seen a few pictures of some dats and some of the split fins did not look as if they would heel....Lets hope this one will.

It will will heal.. To expedite just add those with aloe Vera or something regrow or repair the tissue .. I forgot the brand name usually used it for for my datz long time ago.
