TIRED OF GREEN!

hey I'm posting cause I'm tired of having only green coral ..
me and a friend of mine have noticed that most of our corals.. are green.
now I know that lets face it most are..
but I have a green duncan.. green starpolyps green paly's green zoa's green mushrooms .. 3 kinds of calerpa green capricornus.. acans with some white and pink and green a green roseletta brain coral.. green birdsnest.. normal birdsnest.. purple pagoda.. kenya tree finger leather green candycane green hairt mushrooms neon green mushrooms fuzzy green mushrooms green galaxia..... .. but I do have this cool mustard green cap with baby blue polyps... cabbage coral.. and some of my cabbage coral is actually greenish.. and a rose bubble its a 75 corner with 400 watt metal halide 20g sump and 29g refugium (future seahorse tank once they become available)

ideas on some other non green additions..
NO GREEN.
I'd rather have photosynthetic stuff..
aka no carnations sponges some gorgs.. you get the idea.. and sun corals.
thoughts?

Sounds like a sweet setup! Throw up some pictures!

Most corals are either flesh-tones, or green. The other corals tend to be a little harder to keep, more demanding light-wise, and feeding as well. That being said there are things.

oh i check it constantly..
still most are green..
and I do feed regularly..
2-3 times a week krill marine snow market and brine shrimp even fish fillets... and silversides..
I just don't want to have to rely on feeding alone..
and I definitely have the light for anything.

I never really had thought of getting cloves before.
I've had xenia once....
started off with like.. 4 heads.. ended up with ... 3-4 nice handfulls that I had to scrape off with a razor.. they're still growing back to this day..
and cloves just resemble them tooo much for me..
but I might make an exception
how much are the superman and sunset?

I remembered that you had a solid display tank puffer, but I havent really seen much of it on this website. You should chime in more in the salt section.

If I made the trip to chicago might I get a tour? I would probably pick up some frags as well...I had a sunset but lost it a couple days ago I think it fell down behind my rocks. Oh well...my buddy owns an online "frag shack" so I get everything for like $5.

The problem is alot of the really nice colours of most corals only show up under the really high blues (which are bad for corals if exposed to long), I'm not talking actinic, im talking like nearly UV lights like 20000k+. So personaly I ask to see images of the corals under daylight conditions before ordering to be sure of their colouration.

The photographer who took those pics is extremely anal about keeping the colors of his photos true. I use T5s in that tank. Of course, anyone is welcome to stop by for a tour!

everything is so gorgeous ...
I need to look into some orange cap I think for sure
maybe go into some turbina... rhdonticus mushrooms ricordeas.. zoas anyone seen the snt thomas mushrooms?
but can anyone think of any obvious ones I'm missing?
my purple and yellow is a pokerstar monti
the brighter the colors the better..
