Does anyone have or know someone or some place that has titan triggers I need info mostly on trying to house an adult in captivity but any info or experience would be most help full

I have toyed with the idea of introducing a pair of "Titans" into my Predator display system. But it would mean that I would have to part company with my beloved "Clown Triggers" first.
I wouldn't even risk putting them into my "Sphyraena" (Marine Barracuda) system. When "Titan Triggers" decide to construct a nest, they set up a wide exclusion zone, and NOTHING is allowed anywhere near.

also they get very large. I would suggest about a 500 gallon system for both. there was an issued of TFH that had a column in it. Ill see if i can find it, scan it and pm or email it to you. if you want the email, pm me your email address.

Haha. I was just looking through my past issues of TFH and I came across the article.

January 2008 Issue - Volume LVI - Number 5 - #622.

The did a feature on the Titan Triggerfish under the Top of the Food Chain column. Pg 56 - 59.

i knew it lol. I just couldnt remember it. Be a pal and scan it if you have a scanner and pm it to him, so he has it for his records. if not let me know and ill get it to him, now that i know what issue to look for.

sad as it may be, I have no scanner here. alternatively, he might be able to access it on TFH online. I think they may have an archive of the columns and articles there. not 100% sure though.

I have a baby titan he's only 3 in right now he's in what I'd call a grow out tank with a 3 in clown 4 in niger and a 6 in lunar wrasse thats just temp. untill he grows alittle or gets to nasty. By the way, the first day he was in that tank he killed a 7in Harlequin tusk:duh: one bite to the underside removed he's intestines that was a bad match apparently I thought at that size they would of been alright but wow so any way my real questions are in the future do I keep him alone or in a pair, how do I tell m/f apart or what about the undulated in all the dive videos I've seen thers always 1 titan living on a small mound something coral or rubble away from the main reef and around him is 2 or 3 udulateds acting like a maid service cleaning or fighting over the scraps he doesn't seem to pay any attention to them as if they where not even there anyone else ever see this i've mostly watched dive videos off of utube if I can find them again and figure out how this utube link works I'll share but then If he's ok with the undulateds what about the clowns any input would be great thank's.
