After seeing and owning a few Kilin/Kirin Parrots, I was wondering if it's possible to make a Titanium Parrot (idea came from another where the bp was most likely dyeda light blue/silverish color). Since the release of the Titanium Silk FHs, has anyone seen or heard about them hybridizing with blood parrots? Would the silverish color pass on to the offspring, or would the fading of the BPs just eventually turn them orange/red again?

there are already shortbody "bonsai" titaniums..

yea those look kool

We've had a batch of titanium thai silk bonsai's here, exactly like you stated, though they were too small we just sent them back to the supplier.
Maybe next time we can get some larger ones in =)

Thanks for your input guys, but I thought bonsai was just a short body FH. I was wondering about a titanium thai silk FH x blood parrot hybrid, not simply bonsai.

Killin or Kirin is Parrot body flowerhorn. Bonsai is very short body, but with normal head/face with no notch and a fully working and normal mouth. I would like to see what a Thai silk X Bp would look like. I am trying to get a hold of one from a friend so I can try with my KKP. I would assume they would be pretty sweet. Don't know about getting the parrot look, and I would have to think that if the fish fades, it would lose all "titanium". My theory on this is that Titanium/Thai silk is pretty much one solid pearl, and when a fh or parrot fades, it loses it's pearls, so the only way for it to retain it's coloration is if it did not fade at all.
