Are titanium flowerhorns from a lfs the same quality as rainny betta's? My lfs just got some in and really want to pick up another one since the one I have now doesn't seem to have a kok yet even though it's 2.5".

That seems to be the knock on titanium FHs, no flower and no kok. However there are some great dragon/titanium crosses that are really nice.
If it's a true titanium/thai silk from Rainnybetta or ChannaCrossBreeds it will get a kok. It has good genes it just needs to be given the right care and conditions.
