titanium heater question

I found the 1000watt titanium heating element to my blueline heating system seems to be working just fine.
problem is there wasn't any suction cups on the heating element when I found it. do this things have special holders? if not can I use regular suction cups from some old heaters i have laying around, or will the titanium rod "melt" regular holders?

Does your model have a sleeve type of holder with suction cups attached, if not, you could try one from another brand. Else try attaching suction cups to the rubber ends. I'd be careful putting that attached to acrylic.

I'll try my lfs to see if they have the sleeve suctions and the tank is glass
