Hey guys i just released my largest kohaku and tancho into the pond since they werent doing too well in the tank. they were too skittish and didnt eat to their full potential cause i think they were too large for the tank width. enjoy :)

Scary...they look like food:eek: Hope all goes well. In my experience, my Koi haven't jumped ever unless they were being transferred, but then again, I don't have them with other Monsters like you do. Good Luck!

yupz the tigershovelnose has been chasing them a bit. but they dont seem crazy spooked cause they have ALREADY started eating. so they cant be too stressed. Bit my TSN chases all new fish like it did my green arow, my jar and my silver arows. but after a while wen he realises they are too big to bother eating he leaves them alone. i guess hes just not used to their scent yet.
 
what about the temperature for the koi?? they are cold water fish are they not

koi can be kept in slightly warmer climates. wat changes is their diet and the frequency in which they are fed.
