Anyone know of this brand at all? From my searching all their epoxy paints are for steel and concrete usage, and can be for full immersion in water, but some say non-potable. I'd assume the non-potable would mean it could leach.

Figured I'd ask as I can get 10 gallons of a two part epoxy for free off Craigslist, and wondered if it would work for sealing a concrete tank.

Figure I'll shoot them an email and see exactly what epoxy it is, as Tnemac makes a lot of water storage tank epoxies.

10 gals of 2 part FREE?!?!?! i'd be running not walking, even if you can't use it in your tank.....you can find other uses, 10 gallons of 2 part epoxy around here is big bucks  Oh and the Devoe Coatings paint is TOUGH stuff also - I use it for industrial applications all the time, devoe's latex paint alone is super-tough.

We use Tnemec (Cement spelled backwards) coal tar epoxy to coat pre-cast concrete sanitary stuctures to protect them from sewer gasses. It's nasty stuff and is a carcinogen.

Can't tell for sure by the cans exactly what kind of Tnemec it is as they have many many products. Just we warned that they make some hazardous stuff and you definitely need PPE when handling it.
