To start off, i have a 175g freshwater tank with a cpr 194 wetdry. It has three chambers. I removed the protien skimmer on the first chamber and added a filter sock. The second chamber is the actuall wet dry with filter ribbon. the third chamber is full of bio media.
I was talking with a customer who has thew same wetdry. He said he added a glass lid and put a 50/50 light on his wetdry to grow algae. He said the algae comsumes more waste that way.
