Is it legal to make up crappy designs in paint? Yeh I think so, but it should be banned so people like me don't have to waste our time looking at them. Honestly, I think my dog's waste products smeared over a sheet of paper would make a better design. Lol. Sorry mate, I just had to be a smart arse.

I have a horrible car, and it needs to be made into a giant hideous insect UFO car.

you need to have atleast 2 mirrors on your car.

And lights, and other things that make it safe, but yeah I suppose you could drive something like that or similar. Your best bet would be to take a car chassis and leave the motor/drivetrain/wheelbase stock and build onto that. Look at it this way.. The Oscar Meyer Weiner Mobile is street legal..

I have no idea about price. Probably alot if you want to do it in good quality. And probably a good amount of time too.

I'm not sure you'd want to make the whole thing out of scrap metal. Might look into somehow doing the outside panels out of fiberglass instead. Though you'd probably need to build some kind of a skeleton out of steel first either way to give the body structure.

Your best bet if you're serious to find some info on someone doing something similar or someone who's thought more in depth about how to go about making weird weird cars..

Maybe you could build it and go chill in japan with the guys who build vans like these?

aha, that van is awesome. I wasn't trying to get the outside to look like a car though. Instead of that smooth look, i was going for something like this.
