Have you ever been bit by one? I want to know if its really that bad because I'm scared to get bit by mine but he's still a baby

I think Ide rather swim with a gar instead of a full grown aimara. And Ide pet a gar no problem
I got one Wolf with 17 cm, never bit me...buuuut, I guess it hurts ! haha
C'mon, this guy of River Monsters is the biggest lier I have ever seen ! hahaha He came to the Amazon Jungle talking about people that was eaten by Piraruru (arapaima gigas) and Pirararas (red tail catfish).....I just continue watching it because I like to see the fishes..hahahaha

Those are stories he hears now I think an arapaima big enough can knock you out causing u to drown
Of course he can knock me down, but not eat me...I already dive with this monsters...once in the nature and once in a Resort here in Brazil....they are pacific at all....
maybe he did say that it eats people which i doubt but when i watched that episode i remember him saying something like it may not eat you but it can kill you
I dont think he said they were eaten but killed by a arapaima and anyway he still has one of the best jobs in the world
