So I got an offer for an aquarium it's 125 gallon 3/4 inch glass previously used as a reptile tank for 200 dollars including a stand my questions are: it's missing some trim can I just remove it and it'll be ok? Will it being an old reptile tank mess with integrity? Mainly is it worth it? I resealed tanks before so that's no problem

Pictures?

Maybe 1/2 in I was thinking 3/4 because I wanted to build a 3/4 inch acrylic aquarium but I can reseal it no problem he said there's no bubbles in the seams between panes but I was mainly worried about the trim but he said there's no bracing so idk if that's a problem

Are you sure it's 3/4" glass? Looks pretty thin. If it were me I would for sure reseal, but I guess 200 is a good deal for a tank like this?
It will have to be resealed for sure I say find out how much the sealant is and scrapper and what ever else you might need to seal it let the guy know and take the difference from the 2oo it's not bad deal if you need one asap but trust me there are better deals

Are there any other tanks? I got a 240 acrylic tank with fx6 and lights and all plumbing/ stand for around $600 so maybe there's better deals out there where you are.. Unless space is an issue ect..

Shad, I was thinking about letting it go to find a better deal something more together that's less trouble to get up and running as well
M@t!a$, where I'm at is kinda where no one has ever heard of and all the shops for strictly tanks have gone out of business I want a big tank like a 240
Chockful, what I meant was it was built with a brace
