meriden ,ct
my parents are the reason im in this situation

if you would like wes to call my mother and my father and speak to them about filing bankruptcy last week feel free

my moms car was takin in the middle of the night by vovlvo for missing payment

they are suppossedly in 15-30k in debt from my mom

i work with my dad on the weekends, the money i owed oddball was used to ship a fish to creeper ona trade, he sent me 4 fish 1 of which died immediately , was packaged in the same bag , a 6in gachua female (ripped up on arrival died next 3 days) a 8in male that was the beater, and 2 smaller 3in gachuas that were supposedly paired up as well

i sent him a fish i was selling for 300 dollars plus the 93 dollars shipping

i asked for refunds multiple times as its stupid to put aggressive fish in the same bag....

i gave up on him

i worked for 3 weekends and didnt see a dime from my dad, i asked him wat was up and that i had to return oddball his check

2 weeks later he told me money was tite and give him a while

i yelled at him last night and told him if he didnt pay the 110 dollar check tomorrow then someone would come to our house and beat me up/yell at me/call the house

my parents new of the debt since the beginning

he IS sending a check tmw before work

and refferring to FRP, was it not you that sent me 3 4in indo datnoids(thinbars?) as Tigers and whenever i asked u about widebars you didnt give me a straite answer and 4 nandus nandus a 5in wolfish and a pair of hondurian red points?

i remember three of the 4 datnoids were DOA and you never told me you didnt have a doa policy

the bags were double or triple bagged NOT INVERTED with friggin zip ties

the dats were 35 bux each
the nandus were 5-10 each
the hondurians were like 12 each
the wolf was like 15 or 20

do the math, thats 105 dollars out of a 185(or so) dollar down the drain

the dats are still in my freezer

when i asked about a refund you merely laughed

you cant compete with the other sellers and after i was told those stingrays were not hystrix i flipped out and said **** that, the fish would be doas most likely anyways

im not the onyl oen whos been ****ed by you, look at your aquabid stats

and i was selling every fish i had to buy those fish from you

im not a con i just get side tracked easily and lack the exsperience of paying bills on time

ive done buisness with lots of sellers, wes, john, pedro, and jeffrapps, and the guy out of florida (i was very happy with him but i forgot his name)

no1 here has a right to call me a scum bag except for oddball and frp

salinsky is my mothers maiden name and my brothers name is zach

i shouldnt have decieved you and im sorry BUT there not Hystrix and i did ask for better pics

feel free to rip my ass open some more as this is what i had to say

While it is certainly understandable that you have been under stress, one of the first steps to acting like (and therefore becoming) an adult is accepting responsibility. You have blamed a lot of this situation on your parents. However, you are in the one who made these committments; it is up to you to honor them, or to come to an equitable arrangement with the other parties. Avoiding them or cutting lines of communication or compounding the problem with additional lies is not the answer. Pointing out the equally bad behavior of others is also not a beneficial way to deflect attention from your own error. You need to do the right thing here.

America's greatest shame is that it has fostered a culture where failure to accept responsibility is not only accepted, it is rewarded. Look at many of the big law suits one sees on the news. Should someone who burns themselves with a hot cup of coffee at a restaurant really see this as their opportunity to "cash in"? No, but we as a society do not blame them when they do; in fact, we think less of them for not taking advantage of the situation. High level executives on trial for accounting fraud are quick to blame someone else for their errors, resulting in continuing spirals of blame. It is expected and rewarded for them to participate in this behavior.

Don't allow yourself to take this "easy way out" because it is not the easy way in the long run. Living a life of integrity and responsiblity, as boring as it may sound at your age, is much more rewarding in all ways. Before you get your first "real job", I'd suggest you read the book The Oz Principle. It might help you to understand the value of integrity, and how it can benefit you in all aspects of your life.

In short, please don't attempt to blame this on your parents any further. Take responsibility, and work out with Oddball how you can make this right. Period.

thank you for leading me ont he right path and i completely agree

i will look into said book as i enjoy reading

its kind of awkward as im in buisness management and accounting this year, i screwed up somewhere along the line

Nick, none of that is an excuse. It could be a factor but i those are lame excuses. When i was a teenager, i never spent money on something till i had the money in my pocket.

You have until tommorow to show proof that you sent money to oddball or face consequences.

Yes, you did. But if you don't learn anything from your mistakes, you had no business making them in the first place. So, make this right.

If your father is sending the check (which is what I believe you said) he can provide the routing numbers and check number to Oddball's bank. Then they can immediately transfer the funds, without a piece of paper changing hands. If your father has a debit card attached to his checking account, which almost every bank, everywhere does, he could send it via PayPal if Oddball has an account. He could also use it to send an instant Western Union payment online, and Oddball would receive confirmation from Western Union that it was sent. Lastly, your father could write the check to you, and you could take it to any check cashing store (most towns have at least one), cash it, and send the money to Oddball Western Union. Don't look for obstacles; look for opportunities.

I've been patient this long so, a few more days won't be any more of a strain. I'm willing to receive the money in a manner that won't cost Nick any more money. Paypal charges fees and I believe his account may still be locked. Any check cashing center charges fees to cash checks. Western Union also charges a fee.
I really appreciate all the assistance I've received from all MFK members. Now, let's take a breather and give the US mail a chance to deliver the payment.
