Recently, on the LFS customer story thread, I posted about being in Petco and the girl working it thinking there was no such thing a submersible pumps.
I stopped by Petco last week to buy some crickets and a lady was browsing fish.. She started asking the young man working the fish dept. that evening about some fish, he asked her what size her tank was. "5 gallons" she replied. He asked what she had in it, and while she didn't list anything ridiculous like an Oscar, she did have quite a few fish in it. "You can't put any more fish in that tank" the young man told her. She started to push the issue but he held firm and told her that she absolutely could not put more fish in the tank. He explained it with the 1 inch per gallon rule just to make the lady listen, and she left without buying any more victims. Although she may not realize it, that lady just got great customer service.
