As I type filling my lagoon aquarium

Has water fall/filter system with dual pumps. & metal halide lighting. half filled is about 200 gallons. Good foot print 52" corner to corner pentagon.
Putting a young male motoro. in same & maybe a female later? I want to keep the bio load down so I like to put a school of tetras? That is my question? Will it work & which ones of one or two kind? Like a school of 3 dozen or more? + a couple bushynose to clean algae.
Any thoughts?

kinda figure that would be the eventual outcome but was hoping there maybe a chance & someone has did it? I could put some danios that are fast & cheaper to feed later on when it happens?

silver dollars are schooling and work alright with rays..grow fast and eat alot though..

yeah, but this size they get plus they compete for food for the ray. I have a shimpment of Rosevelts coming tomorrow that I may put in since they stay smaller then the average dollar.

I'm going to throw in some pairs of guppys today to get it started.
