To have air or not to have air

I have a 110 gallon with 1 angelfish and 4 pictus catfish with plants. And i was wondering do i need to have air pumped in to do help or does it do nothing, or should i get ride of it. here some pics of the plants.

Are you doing CO2 injection? Does your filter produce vigorous surface agitation? If you're not doing CO2 injection and your filter has powerful outflows, you don't need the airpump. A battery operated airpump is a necessity though for emergency cases.
 
no i dont do co2 injection and i have 2 canister filters the 404fluval and the xp3
