Here is some pics of my trip to Ireland and the sailing back. Thought somebody might want to take a look. Spent a week in Ireland, and it took 38 days to sail back across the big pond. We traveled 4860 miles on the water and averaged about 5.2 mph. It was quite the experience and glad I did it. It was just me and my father in law on the boat. I hope you all enjoy the pics.

Here is the boat.

The Irish accent ;)

I love Ireland I have been there a few times to play Rugby the people are always friendly I also work out there for 2 months a good few years back but that was north Ireland when things were a little trickier but I loved southern Ireland. What made you decide to sail to Ireland?

The hardest part was probably just being on the boat, a 40 ft. boat is not alot of space to move around on for 38 days. Other then being sea sick for 4 days, I really enjoyed the trip. This was my first time on the ocean and on a sailboat.
My father in-law sailed over and stayed in Ireland for a year, he just wanted some help to get back across and I figured why not? No other reason, just for the expereince.
Ireland was great, everyone was really freindly, they talk a little fast and add the accent, made for understanding a little difficult at times.
Thanks

Why am i not living there.

beautiful

That would have been an awesome adventure. Great scenery in Ireland, that castle looks spooky though.
