This is a pointless number if you havent given us the fish you feed them to, how often, how big are the feeders etc. If you dumped 300 feeders in johnptc's tank, they would last 3 hours and still be not enough. On the other end of the scale, if you fed 300 feeders to 10 mid/large sized cichlids over 2 weeks, then that is too much.

I actually think that 300 4" goldfish feeders dispersed evenly throughout the tank would take a fair bit of time (<3 hours) to get eaten considered that they would stay at the top, get eaten and hide in the driftwood and rockwork. Also, he has a 3-4ft RTC yet that doesnt eat the many 1-1.5ft fish in there.:screwy:
