Do any of you regret catching the Flowerhorn craze and getting way to many FHs? How many is enough? 1, 5, 10, or 20? I'm starting to feel like my kids must have felt about the Pokemon cards. It's like you gotta have them all! Im wondering if most people go for quality or quantity (quantity because of the various types/looks)?

I like to grow stuff out, now I have 3 of them I don't want. Definitley pick quality over quantity. I just like to buy frys for cheap and hope for the best.
Yeah that sounds like alot of fun. I want to do that, but I don't want to have fish that I cant really get rid of, especially since I get attached to my fish. Also, since I don't have anywhere locally that I can purchase frys I have to have them shipped in. Shipping costs are so high that it can somewhat justify getting higher end fish. Even shipping the frys costs like $50 to $85.
In your case you might as well just go with a high quality fish. Either that or order a ton of frys and spred them locally. Then you might be able to find flowerhorns a year or so down the road locally. If you've got any friends or fellow aquarists locally see if they will do a group order with you.
