$300 would be a good price for a body only unless it's virtually unused (low shutter actuation) then it can go higher. $350 would be good if it came with a lens.
i paid like 650 about like year ago with the body and kit lens. So i would say 300 is a good price for the body but i would pay a little to get it checked out before buying it to make sure everything is working fine.

How would I go about in doing that? Great suggestion though. Do you suggest borrowing the camera and getting it checked then returning it to the seller if it doesn't work out with the check-up? It doesn't seem feasible.
sounds like a decent deal to me as well, but it would be a good idea to take it to a camera shop to make sure everything is ok. Maybe the seller would go with you or something.
