hi MFK i have a 75 gal tank and i plan on doing plants i have a 3 t5HO is that good enough? or is that to much and i have an jardini arowana in there so is the light going to be to much for him too?

What type plants and the amount of plants determines lighing.

If you are lightly stocked on plants then you are SERIOUSLY going to have to raise those to avoid algae issues.

Agreed that's a lot of light. U would do so much better with co2 in this tank. Btw don't grow anubias in this setup unless its shaded it will get black beard algae. Anubias is not a plant for your setup in case ur wondering. Btw black beard algae is impossible to scrub off u have to dip it in hydrogen peroxide to kill it. It will actually fuse with the plant. Eventually the algae will block out all light and it will die. Unless u diffuse with floating plants.
