To put the fish in now or later

Tank is cycled, but it has just the crap filters on for right now (for another two weeks.. paycheck waiting sucks.)

I have two HOB filters from other tanks sitting on it. The tank just has water, gravel, and used ornaments from other tanks. Next paycheck, 2x AC110s and some driftwood are going in.

To start my stock now, or to wait? That is the question. First stock list is some Dempseys.

oooohhh i dont no. id say now but if ur puttin new filters then do they have to cycle first? cant remember havnt set up a new tank for ages

I'll have the other filters seeding the tank, so it'll be cycled anyways.

I'm just impatient .

what exactly are you adding? if the tank is cycled you could add something, but if these are large fish I would wait

if the tank is cycled, even if u have crap filters it the media inside the filters holding the bacteria that u need. if u put fish in now just seed te new filters with the media in the old filters. u wont go through the cycling process over again, u could add something then.
