To Salt or not to salt????

I set up a 220 with a silver arrowana, clown knife, delheize and ornate bicher and a south american gar. (I dont remember its true name)
My question is simple should I add salt???? What is the benefit???
And how much...
Any help would be great....

There is really no reason to add salt. Salt can help restore some lost electrolytes or something along those lines, but water changes do a much better job at that.

Aquarium salt has no real benefits unless you need to fluctuate the salinity in the aquarium temporarily to kill ick.
