I am thinking about selling my African cichlids. I love them but I guess I'm just getting a little bored. They are in a 55 and I want to give it to my FH as a grow out. I am going to buy a 180 for my SA community ( currently in a 90) and give that tank to my FH in the future. If I sell my Africans my FH will go into the 55 until I buy a 180. Then the SA community will go into the 180 and my FH will get the 90 and the 55 will be empty. Just hoping for people thoughts on this. Should I sell my Africans and put my FH in there temporarily or should I keep the FH in her current tank ( a 20g) until I get the 180? She is only about 4 inches btw so a 55 is plenty big for her. And it would only be for a little while so don't flame me.

I'd sell them, i've never been a big fan of africans, and then you'll have some cash to put away towards the 180..

LOL I won't be shipping them. I would just put them in the local classifieds.

sell and get a gig prediator for ur 180!!!!!!!!

You obviously didn't understand. Re-read the original post.

Obvious as every1 agrees... sell it.

I think I might sell most of them but keep one or two and put them in the 20 gallon.

What type of Africans are you housing? Depending on the type one or two might not work in a 20 gallon. If they're shellies I'm all for it  (I love shellies).

But like everyone else, I would have to agree to selling them and going your proposed route for you FH and SA community.
