to setup an all GT tank ????

ok i want to set up a 150g(5'x2' foot print) tank
and i would want to keep only GTs, a group of GTs actually

a rock setup with a black background

can you people please put up a few pics of your GT setups (whole tank shots)
with the dimensions and the number of GTs there

and any other thing (other than the info that GTs are very very territorial), i should know before i go ahead with the project

I think you should go for a "dannyD" like setup, with 8 male goldsaums! You will either want lots of driftwood and sword plants, or no decorations.

loads of rocks and driftwood is what i was thinking

If a pair or two hook up you can count on fatalities. Easier to keep all males.

And LOTS of dirftwood etc. would probably work, only problem is that It allows territory to be established and thus protected. If you have 3-4 GT's driftwood will work, but if you want like 7 of em I would go for minimal decorations.

For best results get 2"ers and weed out the females as they get older

all are going to be less than 1.5" atleast
so that i can have at least 12-14 swimming in my tank later on i can toss the females and a few spare males in the chiclid pond
yup will post the pics once i am done with it, maybe in feb
