To the Indy crowd

I have to go to Indianapolis for one day. I was wondering if any of the locals had favorite restaurants and pet shops I should see while there. I'm only into the fish and reptiles. Anything is appreciated.

Haven't been to Indy in a while but if you want a fancy meal look into St Elmos, quality wise I'd say is comparable to Gibson's.

Not ANY Pet stores that I would reccomend . But restaurants I would suggest.... St . Elmos Steak House( expensive), The Oceanairre( expensive), Rock Bottom Brewery, Bazbeaux Pizza, The Rathskeller, Mug-n-Bun drive in, and Union Jacks are some of my favorites.

Hello; If you are in the north portion of Indy there is (at least a few years ago) a good fish shop at the corner of Keystone Av. and 56th street.

Thanks. Rock Bottom sounds like that could be some fun same with rathskeller. I'm surprised by the lack of pet stores.......

Yes there once were several good stores in Indy now there really is one store mentioned above that I do not endorse. I get all my fish from TUIC, The Wetspot or ocassionally aquabid. Have fun in Indy!
