How often did you feed yours veggie-based foods?

I heard from a friend that his possibly died because he exclusively fed it shrimp.

i think anything is fine. the algae in the tank should provide enough veggies.
mines only 6 or 7" though..
i guess my feifengs not good enough.

Mine is 9" and he has all but stopped eating alge from the tank. But i give mine spirulina flakes every day. But he eats absolutly everything i put in the tank and has grown really fast.

I have one around that size, he gets a lot of meety food due to tankmates, but gets bloodworm, mussle, prawn, lancefish, pellets, spiruleena flake, potatoe and food higher in fibre. and algae discs

I have three in a client's tank. All are around 6''-7''. They have doubled in size in the past 4-5 months. They eat NLSpectrum Lg Fish Formula, Dianichi Color Supreme, and O.N. Formula 2 pellets.
