Toads!

My back porch is toad heaven apparently and I finally got to snap a few pictures. These are a couple babies I found tonight, hopefully I'll be able to find one the Narrowmouth toads that like to hang out in the pool soon. Seems like I'm constantly rescuing them from chlorinated deaths but as soon as I have a camera they're nowhere to be found.

i have them EVERYWHERE. they are always out when it rains but i see them almost daily. its almost like having a pet you dont have to look after. well besides trying to keep the dogs from eating them

Yeah right now we're overrun with tiny ones. My cats have a great time with 'em. During the really rainy part of summer it gets crazy. All the big toads come out and my pool is full of Leopard frogs and Narrowmouths

A few more critters from the back yard. I need to have a camera with me 24/7, the other day there was an 8" 5 line skink with a gorgeous bright blue tail hanging out on the wall.
