Thanks! This group has much more pronounced markings than my first group (both from Fishheav3n) THis one has much thicker black markings a lot like my discus origins Araguaia kels had at this age. But these are definitely Tocantins they have the same head shape as my others & different from the Araguaia.

I'm pretty sure that is from being in a tank with white sand. I'll move them to another tank in a little while & we'll see what happens. I'm sure their colors will pop when I do. I'm just liking their markings right now, not so much their coloring.

Where is this group from and what happened to your first group? I like the pale spangly look...its different.

vendor: exotic aquatics (fishheav3n). I lost 2 of the 3 in my first batch from stress when I moved them & I was not careful enough. Lesson learned: Take your time moving/transitioning fish because some will stress out very bad & others not much at all, but you just have to be careful. I was in a rush to get back to work & I lost 2 from the first batch. Here is the one that is left:
