Today i watched my Brandti destroy 2 feeders

He hadn't eaten in 3 days,last nite i put 4 feeders in with him and this morning i watched him destroy 2 feeders.First he bit them in half,then he ate the other half.This fish is really cool.I had to lower his ph from 7.0 to about 6.5.

My brandtii is very skittish and never comes out until its completely dark. All you can see is flashes of silver across the tank at night.

I'm in the market for a Didi camera as we speak(they are so damn expensive!!)My Brandti doesnt hide,but he just stays in 1 corner of the tank until the room darkens,then he chases the feeders around all nite.He is starting to turn a Goldish color,its 1 of the better looking Serrasalmus species(in my opinion)

Brandtii's are awesome fish... Mine is my prefered fish : a lot more personnality than my P. nattereri

Yeah your right,I've had a few Black Rhoms,and some Super Reds,and I would have to say my Brandti is by far my favorite.Today he finally ate some Smelt(of course i had to act like i was leaving the room)but he seems to be coming around.
