This is a pair of breeding F0 P. managuensis from Lake Nicaragua. I just pulled them from the pond and put them in a breeding tank. Both fish are around the same size at 11". Plans are to sell them. More photos of these as they settle in to the new tank.
One shot of the P. managuensis from Honduras. If I had to compare the two races of fish I would have to say that the fish from Honduras is far and away the most colorful. The Lake Nic Manny's don't have the bright blue at the top of their body.
