One thing I can always count on with this fish is a little glass banging. I don't know if it's becasue of his girlfriend next door...or just his attitude. Here he is sizing up the lens.

Bought these at the ACA auction as Honduran Red Points. This is a female. I still think the jury is out on if it is or isn't. Either way...still a good looking "convict".

The Breidohri pair....just to give you an idea on the size difference. The male is 12". There are currently three females and the male in a 180 gallon tank...plus Metynsis and Convict target/dithers...shown below.

Feeding time for the target fish. The largest of these is about five inches across. In total I have about a hundred various Metynsis in various tanks.

They seem relatively mild mannered despite the big head and blocky shape. I don't have them in any special mix of water. Just good clean hard as nails Northeastern Pennsylvania water.

Impressive fish! Besides his mate, how does the male Breidhori behave with the other females?

I used to know when he was hanging with the original female. I pulled the other two females out of the pond several months ago. So there's a lot of posturing, but no real damage...or spawning.
