I noticed through observation that some of the fish will respond predictably under certain conditions. This works particularly well when I am trying to get one shot or another. With the Pearsei I have found that if I photograph in the morning just prior to feeding she gets more aggressive....biting the glass. When she's "in a mood" I am able to draw her easily into the "staging area" where I have my lights set. Here's three of several that I took while she was showing off:

I really like this shot. Any time I am taking photos head on I try to get some, most or all of the fins in the shot. Over all it's just luck when it happens:

I took a shot very similar to this a long time ago...but worth taking again. It's easy to overlook the beautiful blue spangling on the edge of the fins when you look at a distance.

Amazing shots Mo.....I have just bought myself a digital SLR camera could you give me the setting on your camera you used for these shots ISO; shutter speed etc....just trying to pick up some tips to get the best shots of my fish
